Shop and Eat in Mineral

We love our local businesses and we know you will, too. Thanks for supporting this wonderful town!

Mineral Lake Market

Get your groceries right across the street! Wine, fresh produce, local honey (!), all manner of snacks, fishing licenses...Mike and Mel at the Mineral Market offer so much more than excellent alliteration. When you say hey, tell them Hannah sent you.

104 Front Street, Mineral, 98355

Headquarters Tavern

The best old bar in Washington State, HQ is the definition of a small-town hangout.  On Thursdays, they host Meat Draw—a kind of lottery where all prizes are animal protein. $20 gets you 20 chances to win.

Headquarters has a special place in our hearts—it clinched Hannah's adoration of Mineral, first. Then later, Margot spent some fun months there tending bar. Check out the beautifully upholstered bar stools (Margot's is the one with ducks).

For your bougie buddies, there's the Elkamp Store

Just up the road, our neighbors Tom and Brian run the best-appointed camp store you will ever find. Visit for beautiful coffee-table books, stunning work by local artists, delicious-smelling candles, or simply to spend a few moments standing in awe of all the tasteful goods they've managed to curate in one spot.

Open Friday to Sunday, 1-5

Drink coffee with thej Lions

What's better than coffee and conversation? Twice a week, Mineral Lake Lions sponsor community coffee in the blue house just across the street. All are welcome, and the coffee is free. Donations are accepted, and we bet you'll want to support the Lions once you learn about all the good they do.

Stop in Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-11 am
